Our "Little Bitty" girl graced our farm for 5 years and 2 months.
She was one of the original three we purchased from Green Willows.
She got her name because of the little bit of white on her back leg.
She gave us 5 doelings and 5 bucklings in 4 breedings. All were healthy and very beautiful.
She was an excellent mother and much more than a 'little bit' of joy.
Her last pregnancy was one where we must have known that something was not quite right
as we kept an almost 24 hour vigil the last 4 days and were with her the last 2 hours. She
died of a ruptured uterus with 2 unborn kids. There was no way of knowing what the
problem was and nothing anyone could have done to save her.
She was laid to rest in our "Rancho Siesta" along with other beloved pets,
and our Christmas Manger contains another remembrance note for
our "Little Bitty" girl who is
gone yet not forgotten and whose spirit lives still lives on AlyMar Farm and
forever in our hearts.
