| Her 2007 babies - triplets - were born May 25. I heard Lacy cry out at 1:05 and watched their birth. The first one looked exactly like Lacy, thus the name Ditto Belle (Belle after the one she lost, Bella Starlight. The second one was the opposite color and his name became Flip Flop. As the 5 of us rested in the grass, the 3 babies in my arms and Lacy beside me, I realized I had 'lost' 4 goats earlier in the day (Albert took them to Joshua Tree, CA), but had gained 3 more. Thus the 3d one was named, Joshua's Gain. Ditto only weighed 2 1/2 lbs. & quickly became special and a favorite. |
